Transition to 14001:2015

Putting quality, safety and the environment at the front

WEMCO strives to provide a high class service every single day, for every single individual client. So we are pleased to announce that we are working on the transition to the new international standard 14001:2015 accreditation.

In support of this new standard, WEMCO’s compliance manager is an accredited IRCA Certified ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor with the knowledge and skills required to conduct a full audit of WEMCO’s Environmental Management System and compliance to ISO 14001:2015.

The ISO 14001:2015 provides a higher standard for organisations like WEMCO wanting to give their customers even greater assurance in the quality of their service. It is no small undertaking and is exceptionally rigorous in ensuring the best business practices are followed and maintained.

What is ISO 14001:2015?

The revised ISO 14001:2015 standard can help to reduce the impact that your operations may have on the environment. This is a global standard with certifications in 171 countries. The standard provides a framework for organisations to meet the challenges of climate change.

WEMCO want to positively contribute towards climate change issues in the global environment, which means leading the way in our local environment and taking responsibility to reduce our impact on our business activities. ISO 14001:2015 is a means for incorporating environmental efficiency into our day-to-day business and making it a part of our high standards of service. It goes beyond simply reducing waste and increasing recycling.
